Commercial Manager (London)
Reporting to: Head of Commercial
Full Time - London UK / Hybrid
THE ROLE
The Commercial Manager through strong relationships and use of all tools and assets will ensure the net and retail sales growth of the Susanne Kaufmann brand with our omni channel customers. Requiring a strong understanding of pure play e partners and department and speciality store retail and e sites. With strong relationships with the buyers, in store and or marketing teams of each customer.
OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Territory: EUROPE & APAC
To develop a 12 month commercial strategy with the Head of Commercial and Commercial Director, supported by Marketing and Education teams.
To lead the communication and the delivery of the commercial strategy through all customer channels while enhancing the image of the brand.
Responsible for targets and driving sell in and sell out.
Responsible to aid development and retail performance of Susanne Kaufmann within agreed customer groups.
Develop strong relationships with defined key customer partners across all levels
Achieve the Net and Retail Sales goals for each account (in-line with the company expectations) and as directed by the Head of Commercial
Monitor & review Retail & Net Sales data delivering reports and updates as required.
Management, planning and preparation of all Customer/ Brand requirements in-line with the SK marketing calendar and customer trade plan.
Ensure timely and on brand execution of all product launches and digital marketing.
Drive and support e-retailers to create an integrated digital strategy driving, sales, conversion, acquisition and experience.
Ensure all websites are up to date
Management of Stock Control to the optimum level – manage returns as directed.
Communicate all information accurately, timely & effectively both externally (customers) & Internally (field team and office based teams)
Work with and support the commercial team to fully appreciate the success and challenges experienced in store and online.
Manage the net/retail relationship (and thus stock in trade) with an understanding of local issues and challenges.
Conduct field/store visits and present accurate and detailed reports.
Source new and develop existing opportunities in store and online.
Ensure annual and monthly customer forward forecasts are received, then work closely with demand planning on a monthly basis to ensure stock cover.
Present the SK NPD and marketing calendar at market week.
Coach in store department store teams to ensure education and selling skills and excellent.
Review in store POS in line with brand requirements, promo space, windows.
Review customer or pure play webactivity to ensure it is on brand and maximised
Stock Management: New line information, launch quantities, updating of stock catalogue, management & tracking of discontinuations. Monitoring new & on-going product sell through, reviewing weekly stock cover, individual store stock issues, agreeing Christmas stock forecasts & order schedules. Support supply chain on stock demand & forward forecasting. Ensure orders ship OTIF.
Protect the Susanne Kaufmann brand image at all times.
Consider steps and actions to ensure P & L within retailer groups is protected.
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
A proven success in e pure play, department stores, speciality stores in Europe.
Experience within Europe and APAC.
An ability to manage CPAs in Excel or Google Docs.
An ability to adapt and work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
Comfortable working with a team based mainly in the UK but including Germany & Austria.
Able to travel within Europe to visit key accounts.
Influencing skills ability to drive better ways to deliver.

Supply Chain Manager (Bezau Austria)
Reporting to: Head of Supply Chain
Full Time - Bezau, Austria
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the newly created role of Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the planning and placement of production orders with our network of contract manufacturers through to timely delivery at our Distribution Centre in Germany. This role represents an excellent opportunity to work with a global beauty brand, where sustainability is part of our DNA. With one direct report, the Supply Chain Manager will work closely with colleagues both in Austria and our London office and requires excellent standards of both spoken and written English. Previous ERP system experience and good excel skills are inherent requirements of the role. Previous procurement and planning experience will be appreciated.
OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the day-to-day supply chain operations.
Responsible for the planning, procurement and monitoring of production orders with our contract manufacturers.
Ensures continuity of supply of our product portfolio for both our B2B wholesale and B2C eCommerce customers within agreed budgetary parameters.
Responsible for calculating Purchase Order requirements for packaging, observing MOQs and optimising value opportunities through consolidated order placements.
Monitoring order timings through effective critical path management at all stages.
Clear and concise communication at each stage of the procurement process as required.
Work closely with the Demand Planning Manager to translate the Demand Forecast to create the Purchasing Plan, reviewed on a quarterly basis.
Proficient in managing and administering all the cost variables to final cost price negotiation as agreed with the Head of Supply Chain.
Understanding of budgetary controls to ensure purchasing forecasts and commitment are commensurate with Finance directives.
Ensure ERP system is kept fully up-to-date at all times, particularly the Item Master Table and the loading of all new product information including agreed cost of goods.
Identify potential alternative production sources as required.
Manage inventory health, including retired, discontinued and clearance categories.
Identify and communicate any out of stock situations with expected SIW dates, including the management of out of stocks with our eCommerce team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with our supply base, both contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers.
Build and enable good working relationships with colleagues in all areas, demonstrating good team-working competencies.
KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Strong team-working skills as part of a small Austria-based Operations team with the wider business team based in London.
Highly organised individual with high accuracy standards and attention to detail.
Strong data analysis skills using excel and our new BI tool.
Confident in the daily use of our ERP system – training will be provided.
Good project manager and willing to juggle multiple tasks concurrently.
Comfortable to work independently under the direction of the Head of Supply Chain.
Willingness to adopt a flexible approach, at ease with change and new challenges.
Adopts a hands-on approach suitable for a small and fast-growing international business.
An ability to multi-task - be able to juggle priorities across multiple needs.
Excellent communicator in both German and English language.
Training will be provided as required. An excellent opportunity for a quick learner.
