Counter Manager (m/w/d)

Reporting to: Commercial Director Europe
Based: Berlin

The Role

Reporting to the Commercial Director Europe, this role covers the management of our flagship counter at KaDeWe to generate sales & to build awareness.

As a Counter Manager, you will bring expertise how to drive the growth of the Susanne Kaufmann sales ideally based on your experience in the luxury industry. You are a great leader and team player with an open and self-confident personality. In addition, you will have a love for customer management to nurture and grow our community.

Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Achievement of sales targets.
  • Achievement of KPI's (e.g. Average Value Per Transaction; Items Per Transaction, % of sell-out registered & linked to a client vs total sell-out reported by KaDeWe).
  • Building and growing a successful business by managing the client journey instore.
  • Implementation and execution of a CRM program at POS.
  • Capturing client data to continuously build our client database.
  • Independent development and organization of sales promotion measures at the POS.
  • Independent and active recruitment of new customers and expansion of our customer relationships.
  • Professional, individual, and unique customer service according to Susanne Kaufmann guidelines.
  • Establishing & managing relationships with all interfaces.
  • Responsible for leading, motivating & coaching sales associates.
  • Responsible for the planning of the counter staffing within a given budget.
  • Managing of stock levels.
  • Implementation of our Susanne Kaufmann Merchandising Guidelines at the counter.
  • Ensuring a luxurious brand image at the counter.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Experience in luxury cosmetics & natural skincare.
  • Cosmetic & therapeutic background.
  • Fluent in German and English - any other language is an advantage.
  • Flexible and able to work under pressure.
  • Proactive, curious and willing to learn and improve constantly.
  • Winning personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
