10 Day DETOX

Anyone seeking to maintain their health, comfort and attractiveness should regularly do something to combat these negative effects. TCM detox is the ideal way to free the entire body from oversaturation and toxins. Inner cleansing relieves the body, the metabolism is stimulated, the immune system is strengthened and the complexion is clarified.

Susanne Kaufmann and her team doctors have developed a 10 day detox program following the guiding principles of both Traditional Chinese Medicine and western practices for you at home.


The offer of traditional healing practices has been part of the wellness and health offer at Hotel Post Bezau for many years. This also includes a thorough diagnosis according to TCM as the basis for your individualized nutrition and treatment plan. The TCM Detox Cuisine is designed as a lifelong diet and includes everything that should be contained in a healthy and balanced diet according to current scientific findings.


TCM Detox Day 1

TCM Detox Cuisine

Breakfast: Orange muesli
Purée 1 banana and the juice of half an orange. Mix in 1 orange (diced), 1 tbsp of tigernut flakes, 2 tbsp of warm millet porridge and 1 tbsp of raisins. 1 pot of cleansing tea.

Orange: antioxidant, improving fluidity of the blood. tonifies lung yin, tonifies liver yin, combats pulmonary dryness, nausea

Snack: 1 apple. Antioxidant, alkalizing, detoxifying

Lunch: Leek and potato soup
Steam 200 g each of potato and leek (both diced) in 1 tsp of oil. Add 500 ml of vegetable broth and 1 bay leaf, simmer for about 15 minutes. Remove the bay leaf, purée the soup. Season with salt, pepper and 1 tbsp of dill. 1 pot of alkaline tea.

Snack: 1 pear Pears nourish the "yin" and moisturize. In winter, the skin becomes thinner, dry and even itches often. Consuming pears relieves coughing and improves dry, itchy skin.

Dinner: Warm vegetable salad
1 yellow pepper, 1 carrot, 1 small courgette, 1 beetroot, 100 g of potato (all cut into strips or thin slices), 1 tsp of olive oil, salt pepper. Mix everything on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes at 250°C, turn once. Mix 2 tbsp each of orange juice and vegetable broth with salt, pepper and 1 tbsp of chopped parsley and drizzle over the vegetables. Serve with 3 tbsp of whole-grain rice as an accompaniment.

1st exercise: “Spine rotation”
Stand tall, legs spread hip-width apart - toes pointing forwards. Extend the arms to the sides and raise to shoulder level, bend the elbows 90°, tips of thumbs and fingers are touching (Gyan Mudra), palms facing forwards.

While breathing in, slowly turn only the upper body to the left, when breathing out to the right. The head turns with the upper body. Try increasing the speed slowly. Focus your attention on your breathing. You can also close your eyes - that will help you concentrate.

TCM Detox Treatments
Start your detox at home with a detoxifying base bath by Susanne Kaufmann organic treats.

Alkali Salt deacidifying
An alkaline bath helps to de-acidify the skin, promotes the elimination of slag and releases blocked energy, while at the same time providing a relaxing effect. Add 5 tablespoons of the Susanne Kaufmann Alkali Salt to your bath water. It is ideal to bathe for 40 minutes in body-warm water. Subsequent massage in a body care product of your choice. We recommend the pomegranate oil and then to immediately go to bed.

TCM Detox feel-good tip

Body and mind must be prepared for fasting. The decision to fast should not be taken lightly or implemented on the spot. A successful fast also involves a lot of preparation. A good way to prepare mentally is to start thinking a few days or weeks beforehand about which soups to eat or which kind of porridge to eat instead of your normal breakfast. That prevents the mind from going into shock about the abrupt change and reacting with rejection.


TCM Detox– Day 2

TCM Detox Cuisine

Breakfast: Mango smoothie
Purée the juice of 1 orange, the flesh of half a mango and 1 banana until smooth. Top up with hot water as required and drink slowly. 1 pot of cleansing tea.

Snack: 1 apple. Antioxidant, alkalizing, detoxifying

Lunch: Red lentil soup
1 small onion, 1 carrot, 1 small bulb of celeriac, 2 medium potatoes, 1 tsp of olive oil, 250 ml of vegetable broth, 2 tbsp of red lentils, herb salt. Finely dice the onion, cut the carrot into fine slices, dice the celeriac, peel and dice the potatoes. Heat the oil and sweat the onions, add the carrot, celeriac and potatoes, sauté everything well and add the vegetable broth. Bring to the boil, cover and steam for about 8 minutes. Wash the lentils, add them to the soup and steam for a further 8 minutes. Season with the herb salt. 1 pot of alkaline tea.

Snack: Matcha Latte. Matcha is ground green tea and has a particularly high concentration of antioxidants. Mix 1 cup of milk substitute (soy, almond, coconut milk, etc.) with ½ teaspoon matcha powder and heat up. Heat either with a milk frother or in a pot. If necessary, sweeten with 1 teaspoon honey.

Dinner: Vegetable curry
Steam 150 g of potato (diced), 1 small bulb of fennel (diced), 2 carrots, 1 shallot and 10 g of ginger (both finely chopped) with a little cumin and curry powder in 1 tsp of oil. Add 100 ml of vegetable broth, cover, and allow everything to simmer for about 15 minutes. Serve with 1 tbsp of coriander leaves.

2nd Exercise: These are the four stages of pranayama:

1 Puraka (inhalation) A unique inhalation is referred to as Puraka. This process of inhalation should

be calm and, above all, even.
2 Abhyantara Kumbhaka (break after inhalation) After inhaling, a conscious break is taken as a

second step. The air flow is interrupted, the air is kept in the lungs and there is no movement in the body.

3 Rechaka (exhale) The third stage refers to the exhalation. Just as with inhalation, calmness and

regularity is required. The speed, however, depends on the particular breathing exercise and may differ from inhalation. Normally you need to engage the muscels to inhale, while when exhaling the relaxation of these is sufficient. During Pranayama breathing exercises, the air is often released quickly from the lungs.

4 Bahya Kumbhaka (pause after exhaling) The fourth stage of breathing may seem strange to most

1. Pranayama reduces the toxins in our body. The immune system is strengthened, which reduces the susceptibility to diseases.

3. Pranayama teaches us how to breathe properly. With yoga breathing we increase the capacity of our lungs and bring more oxygen to the body.

5. Pranayama is a spiritual experience and takes us on a journey through body and mind (much like meditation).
6. Pranayama promotes concentration and focus on the essentials. One is less easily distracted, which reduces stress and relaxes the body. The mindful control of breathing leads to more serenity and inner peace.

Detox oil scrub
A gentle body peeling for detoxification and deacidification with sesame oil and apricot kernels. With the exfoliating particles dead skin cells are removed, which can better renew the underlying skin and subsequent products can be better absorbed. In addition, the exfoliation stimulates the metabolism and supports the discharge. Subsequent massage in a body care product of your choice. We recommend the pomegranate oil.

Breakfast: Carrot, apple and orange soup
2 carrots, 1 apple, 1 tbsp of sunflower oil, 1 tbsp of honey, 100 ml of naturally cloudy apple juice, the juice of one orange, ¼ tsp of freshly grated ginger. Cut the carrots into small pieces, peel the apple and cut into small cubes. Caramelise the oil and honey in a pan. Add the carrots and apple pieces and cook for about 2 minutes. Add 150 ml of water. Cover and cook over a medium heat for 8 minutes. Add the apple juice and purée everything until smooth. Add the orange and ginger and serve lukewarm.

Snack: ginger shot. Ginger, supports the detoxification process, stimulates the metabolism and provides energy. To strengthen the immune system and improve metabolism highly concentrated ginger shots are ideal. It's best to prepare in larger quantities, in order to save time in the morning. Press 1 orange and 1 lemon and mince 1 piece ginger (2-3cm) in the juicer or blender. Combine with 1 pinch of cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon of honey or agave syrup and puree further.

Lunch: Parsnip and carrot soup
Steam 150 g of parsnips, 200 g of carrots, 10 g of ginger (all diced) in 1 tsp of oil. Add 500 ml of vegetable broth, cover, allow everything to simmer for about 20 minutes, then purée until smooth. Season with salt, pepper and cumin. Serve with 1 tbsp of chive roll. 1 pot of alkaline tea.

Dinner: Baked diced pumpkin
Place 500 g of Hokkaido pumpkin (diced) and 100 g of cherry tomatoes (halved) on a tray lined with baking paper. Mix 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 tsp of thyme, salt and pepper. Roast in the oven at 220°C for about 25 minutes. Serve with 3 tbsp of natural rice on the side.

3rd Exercise: Assisted Shoulderstand Against the Wall - Release Negative Thoughts
Slide into embryo position and place the backside as close as possible to the wall and then come over the side into a supine position, the legs are reclined against the wall. This yoga exercise can be held for several minutes. When the feet start to tingle, bring the soles of the feet together and lower them towards the buttocks. Likewise, a slight reversing position can be incorporated by putting a pillow or a block under the hip and buttocks.

Detox oil

Infused water adds fruits, vegetables or herbs to mineral water. Cucumber, ginger, citrus fruits, berries and mint are particularly suitable for this purpose.


  • Cucumber, Lime and Lemon: Ideal for hot days, refreshes and strengthens the immune system. In addition, the digestion is promoted and it appetite reduced.
  • Pineapple and Sage: detoxifies and promotes the release of pollutants.

Breakfast: Papaya smoothie
Purée the pulp of 1 papaya, 1 banana, the juice of 1 orange with 1 tsp of linseed oil, dilute with water. 1 pot of cleansing tea.

Snack: Steam a handful of radishes in a pan, ½ cucumber, grated, sprinkle with parsley. Radishes are low in calories, fight water retention and support the detoxifying processes of the liver.

Lunch: Millet curry with Romanesco
100 gr of millet, 1 small onion, 1 tsp of sunflower oil, ¼ tsp of turmeric, ¼ tsp of curry powder, 300 ml of vegetable broth, ½ small Romanesco or cauliflower, 1 tbsp of roast sesame seeds, juice of half a lemon, herb salt and pepper to season. Cook the chopped onion in the sunflower oil. Rinse the millet under hot water. Add the turmeric, curry powder and millet and cook briefly. Add 200 ml of vegetable broth, bring to the boil and allow to cook over a medium heat for about 15 minutes.
Divide the Romanesco or cauliflower into rosettes and cook in the remaining broth for 10 minutes.
Heat the sesame oil, stir in the lemon juice vigorously and season with salt and pepper. Place the millet and Romanesco/cauliflower on a plate and drizzle with the lemon juice.
1 pot of alkaline tea.

Snack: ½ Mango. Rich in beta-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E and B vitamins, for example, vitamin B1 and folic acid.

Dinner: Coconut soup
Steam 1 onion, 10 g of ginger (both finely chopped), 200 g of carrots (in fine slices) and 1 small red chilli (finely cut) in 1 tsp of oil. Add 1 tsp of curry paste and pour on 200 ml of coconut milk (low-fat) and 150 ml of vegetable broth. Leave to simmer for about 10 minutes, the add 100 g of sugar snap peas (halved) and cook for a further 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Exercise: Foam roller // Revitalization of fascia tissue with a foam roller (Blackroll, Triggerpoint Roller)
The main task of the foam roller is to loosen knots and adhesions in the connective tissue through massage. Knots and adhesions are caused for example by lack of exercise, maladjustment in everyday life or even stress.
Using the roller: Sit or lie down on the roller to specifically massaging the fascia of calves, thighs, back, etc. By pressing your own body weight into the roll and the continuous and slow rolling back and forth, the connective / fascia tissue is massaged and knots and adhesions are loosened and rolled out so bonds. Tip: In order to additionally strengthen the fascia, particularly slow and flowing movements from Yoga, Pilates or Qi Gong are suitable.

Clarifying Facial care with exfoliation and mask
As a result of the detoxification process break outs and blemishes can occur.  To clarify the skin, we recommend the following treatment. Gently remove the topmost layer of dead skin cells with the Susanne KaufmannTM enzyme peeling. Then apply the Healing Mask for deep cleansing and clarification of the skin. After 15 minutes, wash off and apply a day cream or regenerating cream.

Giving up coffee causes headaches for many people. Tips for combating this side effect are:

  • Peppermint oil: A couple of drops of peppermint oil on the temples can help.
  • Apple cider vinegar: mix and drink 1 cup of water and 1 tsp of cider vinegar.
  • Olive oil: ingest 1 Teaspoon of olive oil
  • Massage: With light pressure massage the scalp, forehead, eyebrows, temples and finally the neck.

TCM Detox Cuisine

Breakfast: Groats with dried fruit
3 tbsp of roughly ground wheat meal, 2 each of dried prunes, apricots and dates, 150 ml of naturally cloudy apple juice, 1 tbsp of raisins, 1 tbsp of soya sauce, 1 tsp of agave concentrate, 1 pinch of vanilla, 1 tsp of almond flakes. Soften the wheat meal overnight in plenty of water. Drain the softening water, rinse the wheat meal. Cut the prunes, apricots and dates into small pieces. Heat the apple juice, add the wheat groats and dried fruit and cook over a medium heat for about 5 minutes. Allow to cool slightly. Fold in the soya cream, agave concentrate and vanilla. 1 pot of cleansing tea.

Apricots: contain above average levels of niacin (vitamin B3), as well as retinol (vitamin A), copper and cobalt. In addition, folic acid, vitamin B5, vitamin C flavonoids (total catechins: 11mg). Eases dry skin, thirst (eaten raw or slowly as dried fruit), pulmonary dehydration, asthma (eaten raw or boiled with honey to syrup)

Snack: Green smoothie with spinach. Spinach has a positive effect on muscle growth and high blood pressure. 1 handful of spinach, 1 apple (sour), 1 banana, 1 orange, 150 ml of water or coconut water, 1 slice of lemon with peel, ¼ avocado. Squeeze orange and mix with remaining ingredients in the blender and mix until creamy.

Lunch: Tomato and pepper soup
Steam 2 red peppers and 1 onion (both diced) in 1 tsp of oil. Add 1 small can of tomato pieces and allow everything to simmer for about 15 minutes. Then purée until smooth, season with salt and pepper. Serve with ¼ yellow pepper and ¼ cucumber (both diced) and chervil leaves as required. 1 pot of alkaline tea.

Dinner: Potato salad
Peel 200 g of potatoes, cut into slices and cook in salt water for about 5 minutes, drain. Mix 2 tbsp of orange juice, 2 tbsp of vegetable broth, 1 tsp of olive oil, 1 tbsp of parsley, ½ tsp of mustard and salt. Stir ½ bunch of radishes and ½ cucumber (both cut into fine slices) with the sauce into the lukewarm potatoes.

5th Exercise: fascia yoga
If you neglect the fascia / connective tissue, it can lead to tension and stiffness. Our yoga exercises help to loosen tension in the back and neck.
Through the movement flow below, the tension is loosened and the fascial tissue strengthened:

Alkaline liver wrap
The liver wrap promotes the blood circulation of the liver and combined with a lying position, detoxification is optimally supported. The best time to apply a liver wrap is 2:00 PM, because the liver is most active then, the liver wrap is soothing, de-stressing and promoted sleep.

  • Soak towel with warm alkaline lye
    • wrap a hot water bottle with the damp towel
    • place the liver wrap directly on the skin (below the right rib cage)
    • wrap again with a dry towel
    • finally wrap a blanket around you
    • leave the wrap to work for 25 minutes
    • Remove the wrap and rest for a while

    TCM Detox Feel Good Tip
    Acupressure is a pressure massage technique that originates from Traditional Chinese Medicine. The pressure point responsible for assisting the detoxification of the liver is found on the back of the foot – approximately a width of two thumbs below the point where the big and second toe separate. Massage this point simultaneously with the thumb of each hand for two minutes in a circular motion.

Breakfast: Mango muesli
Purée 1 banana and the juice of 1 orange, ½ diced mango. Fold in 1 tbsp of tigernut flakes, 2 tbsp of warm millet gruel, 1 tbsp of raisins. Stir in 1 tsp of linseed oil. 1 pot of cleansing tea.

Snack: Pineapple Turmeric Smoothie. Pineapple is an important source of vitamin C. Thanks to the enzyme bromelain, it has a digestive effect. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory & antioxidant properties. ½ pineapple, 2 oranges, 1 ginger (1-2cm), ½ teaspoon turmeric powder, 100 ml water or coconut water - press the oranges, peel the ginger and cut into pieces. Add all ingredients to the mix and blend until creamy.

Lunch: Pepper and bulgur pan
200 ml of vegetable broth, 100 g of bulgur wheat, 1 Spanish onion, 1 red and 1 green pepper, 1 red chili, 100 g of smoked tofu, 1 tbsp of olive oil, ½ tsp of soya sauce, piquant paprika powder, herb salt, 1 tbsp of soya cream, 1 tbsp of tomato paste. Bring the broth to the boil, scatter in the bulgur wheat, cover and cook for 15 minutes. Finely cut the onion, cut the pepper in bite-sized pieces and the chili into fine strips. Dice the tofu. Heat the oil and sweat the onions, then add the pepper, chili and tofu pieces and cook over a low heat for 10 minutes. Mix the vegetables and bulgur, season with soya sauce, paprika powder and salt. Mix the tomato paste and soya cream and drizzle over the dish. 1 pot of alkaline tea.

Dinner: cauliflower salad (alkaline)
Divide cauliflower into small florets and boil until cooked, cool and put aside. For the dressing: Pour 4 tbsp lemon juice, 4 tbsp olive oil, 3 tbsp water, 1 tbsp almond flour, 1 tsp mustard, turmeric, cumin and cilantro into a blender and mix until creamy. If necessary add water and add to the cooled cauliflower and mix well. Let it rest for 30 min.

6th Exercise: "Alternating Breathing" (Nadi Shodana)
Sit cross-legged / or on a chair upright and make your back, crest pull up, tailbone towards the ground. Put left arm on knee, thumb and index finger tip touch - the Gyan Mudra. Palm faces upwards. Lower right elbow down, shoulders relaxed. Close your eyes. Close the right nostril with the thumb of the right hand and breathe deeply through the left. Then close the left nostril with the ring finger, at the same time release the right one. Exhale deeply through the right nostril and immediately inhale again through the same. Close right again with thumb and exhale through the left nostril and inhale.

Duration: 1 minute - last exhalation via the left nostril.

TCM Detox Treatment & Feel Good Tip

BODY WRAPPING:  With Body Wrapping, the circumference of the arms, waist or thighs can be reduced visibly with little effort. How body wrapping works and how to use it without much effort at home, we will show you in today's home spa tip. Body wrapping is based on the principle of compression and helps our body to reduce water deposits, activate fat cells and remove slag. With the combined use of potent body care products, the effect can be increased even more.

You need:

  • 1-2 rolls of cling film, 2 bath towels, body care products - we use our Detox Oil Scrub, Anti Aging Body Serum and Anti Aging Body Cream
    Blanket & 1 pot of detoxification tea
  • Prepare a pleasant place to relax and make yourself a pot of detoxification tea or ginger water. During the wraps you should drink plenty to activate the kidneys, as they play an important role in the removal of water and slag during the effects of the body wrap.
  • Pamper your skin with the detox oil scrub. Begin with your feet moving forward to the legs towards the heart with gentle, circular movements. Likewise start from the hands over to the arms and shoulders. The peeling cleanses and removes dead skin cells. At the same time it stimulates the purification process and blood circulation with peeling particles from apricot kernels and poppy seeds. Wash it off during a relaxing shower.
  • Massage the intense anti-aging serum into those areas that need a bit more "attention". Then apply the Anti Aging Body Cream to all the areas that you want to wrap in the next step with cling film. Some cream residue on the skin can still be visible.
  • Wrap your legs first with foil. The best way to work with individual pieces of film in the length of about one meter. Do not wrap too tightly to prevent you from cutting off blood supply. As a small rule of thumb, the looser your connective tissue is, the looser the wrap should be. At the same time, the film should not slip. It is advisable to try out the desired strength of the wraps beforehand. You may need help from a second person in the arms.
  • After you have wrapped yourself up, you should rest and relax for at least half an hour. Lie down in the relaxing place you have prepared and cover yourself. Now you can go ahead and sweat! Remember to drink a lot during the next few hours to further boost the detox effect. Your fat cells are being pushed together by the body wrap. As a result, water and slag are removed from the cells, which are then transported to the kidneys and broken down.
  • Remove the wraps after one hour. We then recommend a shower to remove the sweat. Treat yourself to some extra complementary care with a short massage with the firming pomegranate oil.
  • For optimal, sustainable results, apply the wrap weekly for a period of 10 weeks. After just one or two wrapping applications you will see the first successes. Therefore: Happy Wrapping!

Breakfast: Apple muesli
Mix 1 apple (grated) with the juice of half an orange, 1 tbsp of tigernut flakes, 2 tbsp of warm millet and 1 tbsp of raisins. Stir in 1 tsp of linseed oil. 1 pot of cleansing tea.

Snack: Cucumber Lassi. Cucumber, chili and parsley have a detoxifying effect, while yoghurt stimulates digestion. Wash 1/4 cucumber, fresh parsley, 1/2 lime juice, 125g yoghurt, salt, pepper, chili, parsley and cucumber and mix or puree all ingredients.

Vegetable sticks with avocado dip
1 small cucumber, 1 carrot, 1 stick of celery. For the dip. A ripe avocado, 1 small clove of garlic, the juice of half a lime, herb salt, pepper and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Wash the cucumber, celery and carrots, halve and then halve lengthwise. Peel the avocado and remove the stone, add pressed garlic and lime juice, purée everything. Season to taste. Arrange vegetable sticks and dip on a plate. 1 pot of alkaline tea.

Snack: half a cucumber, quarter radish. Grate, steam in sesame oil and drizzle with balsamic vinegar.

Dinner: Fennel and potato soup
Steam 1 bulb of fennel, 150 g of potatoes and 1 onion in 1 tsp of oil. Add 400 ml of vegetable broth, leave to simmer for about 15 minutes. Add 100 g of cherry tomatoes (halved), cook for a further 3 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and 2 tbsp of parsley.

7th exercise: “Upper body stretching”

For the upper body rotation with a straight upper body, move into the cross-legged or lotus position. Raise the arms to shoulder height, angle the elbows so that the hands are pointing upwards and form a circle with the thumbs and index fingers. Turn the upper body to the right and then back to the middle, to the right again and back to the middle, a total of 18 times. Then do the same on the other side.

TCM Detox Treatment
Beside the use of the Alkali Salt in a body bath you can also use it in an alkaline foot bath. Our soles are rightly often referred to as the third kidney, as they have very many sweat glands. The effect of the alkaline foot bath can be assisted by rubbing off the feet and lower legs every 15 minutes with a peeling glove or a washcloth or brushing them off with a brush. For an alkaline foot bath, dissolve 1 scoop of the Susanne Kaufmann Alkali Salt in a foot bath and bathe for at least 30 minutes.

Digital detox. Take a break from bad news and negative influences. Avoid TV news people in your life that drag. Instead, write a list with all the things you are grateful for right now in life.

Meditation Exercise – Conscious Walking
The time you walk can be used to focus and calm your thoughts. Walking is such an automated movement that we barely notice it. Walking meditation however highlights this. It's about focusing on walking while shopping, getting on the subway or while climbing stairs. See how your feet are touching the floor, which muscles engaging and disengaging. Watch the tempo: Are you moving slower or faster?
In this way, you consciously maneuver yourself into the here and now and give your worries a break - this is relaxing for mind and body.


TCM Detox– Day 8

TCM Detox Cuisine –  Build-Up Day 1

Fish and meat are now allowed back on the plate. And for everyone who really missed them: coffee and black tea are also allowed (1 cup of either per day). More steamed fish than meat, cook meat at a lower temperature and do not coat with breadcrumbs.

Breakfast: Pear muesli
Mix 50 g of cottage cheese and 1 finely sliced pear into a warm porridge made of 1 tbsp of tigernut flakes, 2 tbsp of warm millet and 1 tbsp of raisins.

Snack: 1 apple.

Lunch: potato soup (alkaline)
2 tbsp rapeseed oil, 6 potatoes, 1 onion, 2 vegetable stock cubes, 750ml of water
Wash peel and slice potatoes. Peel the onion and cut into small pieces. Fry the onion in rape seed oil until translucent, then ​​add the potatoes. Add water and stock cubes. Cook over medium heat and then purée with a blender.

Snack: 1 Orange

Dinner: Paprika vegetables with rice
Cook 50 g basmati rice in salted water, dice 1 red and ½ yellow pepper, fry 1 onion and 1 clove of garlic in 1 tsp of olive oil. Deglaze with 2 tbsp vegetable broth and mix in 1 tbsp parsley. Salt, pepper and arrange with rice. 1 pot of alkalizing tea.

8th exercise: “The tree”
Press the foot against the inside of the opposite thigh, engage the leg and buttock muscles. The less proficient can place the foot against the inside of the knee or calf or place the sole of the right foot on the arch of the left foot. Raise the arms and push the palms together. Stay in this position for five to ten long breaths. This asymmetric basic posture standing on one leg trains the active muscles of the legs, feet and buttocks. It promotes balance, invigorates and strengthens. The leg will often want to slip away to begin with. Don’t worry about it and leave it where it’s comfortable. The more you tension you put on the standing leg and the firmer the pressure of the angled leg becomes, the better the tree works. This also takes a little practice.

Hold for at least 15 seconds, then change to the other leg.

Try this relaxation exercise: Find a quiet place. Sit in a comfortable chair. Breathe deeply and consciously in through the nose into the stomach and out through the mouth. Speak or think the following sentences three times in succession: “My body is quiet and relaxed”; “My breathing is quiet and relaxed”; “My mind is quiet and relaxed”. Try to sense the rising calm and relaxation.


Mindfulness exercise: eat mindfully
Breakfast or lunch is also good for training mindfulness. Look inside before the meal: Are you hungry or peckish? In what mood do you sit down at the table? Look at your food, how it looks and how it is made up. Then focus on the process itself, smell your food, watch attentively how you bring your food to your mouth, what it feels like, how it tastes. Chew consciously and slowly. Be careful at least for the first five bites of your meal. When you're finished eating, feel inside your body: Are you full? Are you feeling satisfied?

TCM Detox Cuisine – Build Up Day 2

Breakfast: Mango muesli
Stir 150 g of whole-milk yoghurt and 1 tsp of honey together, add half a mango (diced) and serve on the warm millet. 1 pot of cleansing tea.

Snack: ½ Mango Rich in beta-carotene, vitamin C, vitamin E and B vitamins, for example, vitamin B1 and folic acid.

Lunch: Carrot and ginger soup
Steam 200 g of carrots, 150 g of potatoes (both diced) and 10 g of ginger in 1 tsp of oil for 1 minute. Add 500 ml of vegetable broth and leave to simmer for about 15 minutes. Purée once, season with cumin, salt and pepper. 1 pot of alkaline tea.

Snack: pears smoothie. Pears are particularly low in fat and a great moisturizer.
1 x banana, 2 pears, juice of 1-2 oranges and 50ml of water mix together to a creamy smoothie.

Dinner: Lentil vegetables with pollock
Steam 1 onion, 2 sticks of celery and 1 carrot (all finely chopped) in 1 tsp of oil for about 2 minutes. Add 50 g of red lentils, 150 ml of vegetable broth and leave to simmer for about 15 minutes. Season with paprika, salt and pepper. Cut 150 g of pollock fillet into bite-sized cubes, season with salt and pepper, fry evenly in 1 tsp of oil and serve with the lentil vegetables.

9th exercise: “The boat”
Sit down on the yoga mat with your legs outstretched. You should clearly feel your sitting bones. Breathing in, raise your outstretched legs from the floor in order to balance better on the stool. Exhale. Breathe in deeply again and stretch the spine, the crown of the head moves upwards. Raise the arms parallel to the floor with the palms facing each other. Push the sternum gently forwards, the shoulders away from the ears. With the last exhalation, lower the arms and legs again.
Variation: The legs are angled at the knees so that the lower legs are parallel to the floor - toes pointing forwards.

Moisturizing facial care with hyaluronic serum by Susanne Kaufmann
The highly concentrated, herbal hyaluronic acid supports the binding of moisture in the skin cells. The perfectly balanced molecular structure of hyaluronic acid fills the moisture reserve of the skin, both in depth and on the surface. The lifting effect that begins after application reduces visible lines and wrinkles. After thoroughly cleansing the face, apply a few drops of hyaluronic acid and then apply the moisturizing mask. Breakfast: carrot and apple salad (raw food)
Grate 3 carrots and 2 apples roughly and place together in a bowl. For the dressing: Add lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper to taste

Snack: 1 apple. Antioxidant, alkalizing, , detoxifying

Lunch: Chickpea dip
Purée 90 g of sheep’s cheese (light), 50 g of chickpeas (can), 1 small clove of garlic, salt, pepper and paprika. Serve with half a peeled red and yellow pepper, half a cucumber and 1 steamed piece of chicory. 1 pot of alkaline tea.

Snack: Half each of a cucumber, red and yellow pepper from the oven (200°C, 30 minutes)

Dinner: Chicken breast with root vegetables
Cook 200 g of carrots, 1 parsley root, 150 g of potato, 100 g of leek in 300 ml of vegetable broth for approx. 15 minutes. Add 120 g of chicken breast fillet and cook over a low heat for about 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and 1 tbsp of chives.

10th exercise: “The triangle”
Stand tall, legs hips-width apart, toes pointing forwards. Breathe in deep, pass the right arm over the side and upwards. Breathe out slowly and move the left hand slowly over the left side of the body along the thigh towards the left knee. Try to leave the legs extended and place both soles of the feet evenly on the floor. You can look forwards or slightly upwards.

Slowly increase from 5 breaths to 10 breaths for each side of the body.

A valuable home remedy during detoxification plans is oil pulling. In the morning, soberly, take 1 tbsp of oil, - preferably use one whose taste you like (grapeseed oil, olive oil, coconut oil etc) - in the mouth. You pull the oil back and forth in the mouth, a bit like rinsing after brushing your teeth, from front to back, from right to left, from top to bottom. It is important that the oil should not be swallowed - because the toxins that are released should not be reintroduced into the body. After about 3 minutes, the structure of the oil has changed, it has now become milky. The oil can therefore be spit out and the mouth should be rinsed and the teeth brushed.
